The hotel was beautiful and centrally located to everything we wanted to see - Anne Frank's House, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh were all approx. a 20 min walk away. The staff (esp. the concierge) were extremely kind and helped me obtain hard to get tickets to events (Van Gogh) + restaurants & taxis. If you book a taxi through the hotel, you'll be charged a set price that could be lower than one you'll negotiate on your own. The room was immaculate, the beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom always had plenty of soft towels. The people at the entrance always greeted us with a smile, and the foyer was beautifully decorated with art, fresh flowers and an expansive view of the canal. Our room had a canal view as well and at night it was wonderfully calming to watch the boats glide under the lighted bridges.

All was good my only disappointments 1. when our friends arrived for an evening boat trip, there was no room for the car to be put in the hotel garage, my fault we should have enquired when we booked the trip with you 2. In the lounges there was no drinks service after 10pm ( your staff got around the problem, but in reality there should have been no problem( get our order from your pub bar 3. Confusion on what was included in the buffet breakfast ( I believe one can order from the menu and use the buffet at the price of the buffet but still not quite sure. All are little issues, love the hotel

This hotel was fantastic! Worth every dollar spent. While waiting for our room they allowed use of the spa facilities so we were able to clean-up after the flight. The location was great - we walked almost everywhere and also used the hotel bikes one evening which was really nice. The hotel concierge made us a few dinner recommendations and reservations - our favorite was the tasting menu at Satchmo. The afternoon tea in the lobby was nice. Overall 10/10 hotel!

The hotel was incredibly beautiful and very clean. The staff were so kind and friendly and helped us get into a museum that was sold out. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was lovely and the location couldn’t have been better. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Alison

Fabulous location, excellent reception staff and welcome. Perfect concierge staff. Rooms had a superb view. Great breakfast presentation and staff. A special mention to the doormen who were of great help to move around the city with a special mention to Mohammad.
